Mission Mars

This year was our rookie year. In the first place, the competition rules were written in a complex way, and we thought we had 2 1/2 minutes and three rounds to do all the missions ie a total of 7 1/2 minutes. We didn't find out until the tournament that we were mistaken! The following year the rules were rewritten less technically. Because of that, we had a slow robot. We still managed to get an okay score.

In our research project we did a Powerpoint presentation about the Mars Rover. Back then there wasn't any junior FLL but they told us that there was no minimum age, only a recommended one of nine. I was only six and Ciara, my sister, was seven but we still participated. Ciara even ran the robot at the tournaments.
